* Energy export of light oil is a loophole to the previous policy. It is not clear how to determine the shade of 'lightness' and how to enforce it. It is interesting that EU is not the chief customer so far under the possible embargo of energy from Russia.

* Currency depreciation is good for national debts. China would lose a lot when the USD depreciates. When you return the debt of one dollar that was used to be able to buy a loaf of bread, now it can only buy half. Appreciation does the opposite.

* The new money market regulation does not mean a lot to me except more unnecessary government regulations.

* GM and Ebay do not gain my respect. I do not want to invest in companies that I do not respect even with good profit potentials. Same for the legalized drug companies.

* Seems EU still has not resolved its banking problems.

* Not in SA news. It has been too many air plane crashes. Will it affect the airline stocks and the air plane manufacturers?
