There is NO
country in the world that does not welcome tourists. A small group of
HKers are as they hate the bad public behavior of the Mainlanders. Some
may have ambition that will not be materialized. You cannot fight with
your parents.
China saved HK from melt down during the flu years
by letting Mainlanders to travel to HK (they're BIG spenders). It drives
HK richer but also gives them a lot of resentment. A sword is
double-edged.
